Hello Everyone! Welcome to our new blog. I decided to create one for our family that is separate from the one we share with Myla's birthparents so we can share more information! Feel free to change it on your blog if you have our old one. I am excited to say that Spring looks like it is right around the corner (finally) and we are finally all feeling better! It was a long winter starting with pregnancy nauseau, flu, colds and oh so many more fun things we all shared as a family of 4 (almost 5!) The kids are doing great! Jaden is as big as a four year old and outgrew all of his 3T clothes before he had a chance to permanently stain them! He is our fearless boy with that keeps us on our toes and a little drained of energy all of the time! We enjoy every second listening to him tell his stories, watching his football moves, riding his bike (practically doing without training wheels already!), and cuddling with him. He is quite the Mommy's boy right now and seems a little confused by my growing belly, even asking if he could go back in! Just one of the joys of forming families through adoption! He has so many questions which have already challenged us and been cause for great joy at what God has done! Speaking of adoption, our little Myla "bean", as we call her, is quite simply the best and sweetest baby ever! She turned 6 months on March 19th and her personality just exploded! She smiles all of the time (unless she's really hungry), has learned to make her way around the room by rolling and a little scooting, and wants to eat everything (although she's only currently sampling peas and peaches, yum!) We are so thankful for the life, contentment, joy and sensitivity that she adds to our family! I look at both of my kids all of the time and wonder where I would be without them! In pregnancy news, baby number three is getting stronger every week. I'm in my 22nd week and feeling pretty good. My pregnancy seems very different then with Jaden, but life is also a little different then when I was carrying Jaden. I enjoy feeling the pokes and movements everyday and dreaming about whether this baby is a boy or a girl! It is fun to guess and wonder, but also so amazing to feel like God knows exactly what sex will fit best with our family. Although this pregnancy was quite a shock, we stand amazed at his timing and how if this would have happened one month earlier we would not have been eligible to adopt Myla (according to Bethany's policy) and where would we be without her, yet are so excited to add one more to the crazy mix! Micah and I are doing great. We just assisted in another marriage crisis weekend and saw so many broken relationships totally healed, celebrated Micah's big 3-0 in Cinn. together, and had fun with Micah's Mom as she visited for 9 days! Our lives changed so dramatically in one month last November as we were trying to adjust to two kids and then a new pregnancy on top of it all (with nausea and migraines to follow for the next 18 weeks), but life has slowed down and we are thankful for all of you for your love, support, encouragement and for just doing life with us! My goal is to keep this blog updated at least weekly and share life with many of you that I get to see weekly but many that are unfortunately far away in distance, but never from our hearts! We love you all--
